Magic City Performing Arts is committed to supporting and maintaining the highest quality of artistic vision as a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization using only local community talent and providing a beautiful holiday tradition, the Magic City Nutcracker, along with other performances and outreach events for the city of Birmingham.

We are a local community concert band of teachers, professors, and musicians. We have woodwind ensembles, brass quintets, and solo performers available.

Children’s book author or Let’s Roll, Oliver! – a true story about my long-haired dachshund, Oliver, who lived 10 of his 15 years in a doggie wheelchair. His story teaches uniqueness, kindness and respect to children – and adults, and enlightens children about disabilities.I’m happy to do free author visits in schools, libraries, events, art shows.

Space One Eleven is a nonprofit contemporary art organization in Birmingham, dedicated to serving artists and the community through exhibitions and art education. Our gallery presents thought-provoking exhibitions that explore social justice and human rights themes. SOE’s arts education program offers afterschool art classes and summer art camps for students in grades 2-12, and art classes and workshops for adults.

Diane is a mixed media artist whose work includes encaustics, alcohol and acrylic inks on Yupo, collage, book arts, cyanotype, and printmaking. Themes revolve around seasons, detailed examination of natural patterns, and transformations.
