We Have Big Dreams!
The vision of the Arts Council is to become a comprehensive resource for artists, the leader in education and best practices among arts organizations, and establish a multi-faceted facility dedicated to the arts. We hope to achieve this vision by pursuing four key strategies:
Website Resources
The Council is currently working to build a complete, comprehensive resource for all artists in the area that facilitates networking, educational and funding opportunities.
Artist Summits
Connecting people in the Arts space is an ongoing goal of the Arts Council as plan to host leadership and networking summits for local and statewide arts professionals and enthusiasts.
Executive Director
In the next five years, the Arts Council hopes to hire an executive director to help with all aspects of event planning, fund raising and programming.
Dedicated Facility
This idea is the “big one”. Our long-term goal is to generate yearly funding that will, in the next decade, yield the financial resources to establish an arts center for a wide range of educational and performance events.
Support the VHAC!
We can’t do this without you! The Vestavia Hills Arts Council is a 5013c non-profit organization and as such – we rely on the financial support and volunteer efforts within our community.
